In my last post, I started by saying that I was feeling overloaded with information, saturated with the stuff. So let’s start off with a list of stuff I have been perusing lately.

This will get you started on what I am writing about in this post.

I am seeing more and more articles lately that are examining the pact from the 1700’s with the government and the citizens of this country called the U.S. Constitution.

One thing that I find interesting that there is more discussion about this phrase from the constitution;
“That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness.”

In other words, the people have the right to revolt and change the government when it no longer serves their interests. I’m sure all of you are now familiar with the quote from Jefferson concerning a revolt every 20 years is necessary;

"God forbid we should ever be twenty years without such a rebellion.
The people cannot be all, and always, well informed. The part which is
wrong will be discontented, in proportion to the importance of the facts they misconceive. If they remain quiet under such misconceptions,
it is lethargy, the forerunner of death to the public liberty. ...
And what country can preserve its liberties, if its rulers are not
warned from time to time, that this people preserve the spirit of
resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as
to the facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost
in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from
time to time, with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
It is its natural manure."

Now let’s see, revolts against the government in one form or another in the last 20 years or so.
Gorden Kahl in Arkansas in the 80’s. I was living there at the time and the shootout took place a few miles from where I was living.

The CSA revolt in the 80’s in Arkansas. Here is a short quote about it from; http://www.rickross.com/reference/israel/israel6.html This article has a few facts wrong but gives the essence of this group. Good read.
“The Covenant, the Sword and the Arm of the Lord, as Ellison's group eventually called itself, would be responsible for a church arson in Springfield and for bombing a Jewish Community Center in Indiana. As early as 1983, it talked of blowing up the federal building in Oklahoma City. Ellison and other members of the group even went to Oklahoma City at one point in the early 1980s to case the federal building, which Timothy McVeigh destroyed on April 19, 1995, killing 168 people. That raid began April 19, 1985 - 10 years to the day before McVeigh's attack.
An accident at the Covenant compound, and then a raid by local, state and federal officers, broke up the group before it carried out any more violent plans, according to Noble, who served more than two years behind bars for possession of unregistered weapons.”
Actually, I was living there then and not far from their compound and had a friend that took part in the raid by local police. What actually happened is a couple of the members of the group got out of control of the leaders and decided to knock off a Brinks truck and killed a couple of guards. They were survivalists and led the feds on a chase through the mountains for over a month before finally walking out and giving themselves up. I had met a few of the members of the group and got along just fine with them. They offered courses in urban and rural warfare but I never had the money to take them up on it. At the time, they sure seemed legit to me.

And then there is 9-11. Was this a random terrorist attack, or an external rebellion against American economic dominance and policies, or a manufactured incidence by our government, or some combination?

Well, we sure do know how those actions turned out. Lots of people killed and nothing changed. In fact, the aftermath of all of this was a rabid increase in power of the executive branch of the government that continues today. It is readably apparent that our government is in the hands of bankers and CEO’s with the president as sham head of state.

In any event, one of our most current severe problems in this country is a lack of citizen insistence that the government operate according to the constitution. If we don’t like the constitution, then put together some other form of agreement on how we are to be governed. It seems obvious to me that the government has no intention of adhering to the constitution and its tenants and that we are rapidly sliding into some form of absolute plutocratic control. Our elections are, and have been, shams of the most severe kind. This is not to say that we haven’t been under control of a plutocracy in the past, (just read the economic history from 1870 through the 1920’s) but I can say that the amount of control has gone up exponentially. I can say that our supposedly constitutional guarantees of freedom and rights have been radically diminished and governmental controls at every level of living have increased dramatically, except of course for the plutocracy. When the robber baron in the early 1900’s got so excessive that it could be no longer tolerated, people in government put some brakes on to their excesses. But then they got the Federal Reserve act passed in 1913. The plutocracy consolidated power and it’s been down hill every since for all of us. Our dollars in purchasing power is now 4 cents when compared to 1944. Our supposed inalienable rights and freedoms are being softly taken away without a meaningful peep out of the population. The harsh debasement of the only people in our society that actually produce anything of value, what we call the blue collar worker, is proceeding apace. I’ve gotten arguments about that kind of statement. Oh come on I retort, what does a supervisor produce, or a CEO, or a banker? Unless you want to talk about endless paperwork, they produce nothing. Even the financiers, the investors produce nothing except more hopeful profits for themselves.

Now I suppose it can be argued that an economy can be built on something other than production of useful goods, like the information economy, or the get your degree economy, or the service economy. None of which is really needed unless you are producing something people really do need, in other words, some kind of production of truly useful goods. The essentials are still food, water, clothing and getting out of hostile weather. It appears obvious to me that pre western civilization, pre industrial societies were able to be self sufficient or very nearly so. But the larger the society, the more it depends on a division of labor and disconnect from the social group as a whole to survive. Much smaller societies tend to have a pretty much of a consensus concerning how they will live and the rules to live by within the group. In larger societies, at least over time, consensus becomes impossible, allowing a ruling elite to take charge. As the ruling elite’s power base expands on the promises to the society at large, they become more rapacious and more authoritative (controlling.)

1) All that is just abstraction. Just the creation of Marketing, Business, and Financial Business School creations that have led us to the sorry state that the nation is in.

2) With the constraints of financial and marketing systems that have metastasized and are ready to blow up and kill the host, I’d say hopefully, all this will go the way of the homing pigeon. What we will need more of is trades people who can fix things and manufacture usable items. Cottage industries that produce items vital to the lives of the people close by.

3) It would appear that fighting the government with the weaponry envisioned by our Founding Fathers is, in the end, futile. It may hold them off for awhile, but in the end, armed resistance is futile. They have the clear advantage in terms of firepower, and are just looking for an excuse to demonstrate it. At least that is what the plutocracy is banking on. I will leave the arguments over this for others to expand on.

4) It could be that better tactic would be to assess where their vulnerabilities lie and take advantage of those. A globalist consumer economy requires consumers. Pretty simple. Resist by not consuming anything that isn’t produced here. Of course the problem revolves around what is not produced in country that is truly needed. My observation is that most of what is produced outside of the country is fluff.

5) They manipulate and bombard us with commercials – disconnect from the satellite and cable and stop purchasing objectionable newspapers.

6) Turn the tables on them. Has your boss taken out a “dead peasant’s” insurance policy on you or your co-workers? Then, take out a “dead boss” policy on him and see if that makes him squirm.

7) Observe what other things they are using to damage or destroy us – and turn it back on them. Obviously, one cannot go into detail.

8) Avoid joining groups that can be infiltrated and manipulated, including political parties and protest groups. Random acts of creative resistance are much harder to identify and punish.

9) Become as self-sufficient and sustainable as possible as a community. Reach out to as many neighbors as you can. Nobody can do it alone (unless you are Baz, living in the New Zealand outback or some such thing and even Baz is dependent on the greater society for his life style).

10) Cultivate happiness. Figure out what your passion is and do it. Their whole evil system is based on unhappy people manipulated into buying or doing things to relieve their mental anguish. Freedom and happiness are the anti-dote. Take those seriously and make them a priority. They are our birthright.

What I find immensely interesting is how an elite cast is created in complex societies, and why the population will tolerate them. It seems to have a relationship to ownership and control of resources and the control of the medium of exchange (money in the case of most societies). Take away the elite ownership of resources (in whatever form) and put it into the hands of the general population and the elite caste systems breaks down. It sure enough appears to me that not allowing it to happen in the first place is a bunch easier than to wrest control away from them later. When this control by the elites is allowed to continue, we end up with a plutocracy, where the primary benefit of the arrangement always awards disproportionately the elites in the form of money and privilege. In other words, egalitarianism is never the outcome of this arrangement. Keep this in mind during the next voting cycle.

Not much time today Murph so just a quick question. Another storming post by the way. I heard some time ago that there was only the agreement of one more State needed to re write the constitution. Any further news on this? Also New Hampshire keeps threatening to secede; any further news on this one.

People don't even know what they're looking at anymore. A few do, most don't, there is a lack of cohesive opinion in the matter, artfully contrived, thus we remain divided and constantly diverted, a fait accompli where even the president is no more effective than a greeting card.

We see this march today for gay rights in DC and note the insistent factions of the populace believing still in hope and change in spite of the stark reality of all you've written here, proven history, to which readers will surely add further proof from their own observations. To believe is to hang around the Zombie Food Court and all which that implies. Only in resource rich nations will they bother to rig elections anymore, all unnecessary now in Pluto where an advertisement occupies the Oval office. Subsequent elections are a done deal according to the marketing campaign strategy targeting geographic merchandise consumer units and further quaints everything which once held value.
Here's another side, murph, you see how it is. You see we have to go through this to get somewhere else, you see we clearly are now somewhere else. Something outside of our understanding is moving this in a direction of sustainability, we've taken a lot of wrong detours and continue to do so, but as we speak, changes are going down. For the believers, they're lost is a sea of beliefs, but something is pushing us to reevaluate all values - it is not a coincidence. It is possible our lone voices are also contrived. There is a reason for the existence of our anguish. For what purpose other than forward movement could that be? Cui bono?

Thanks. I haven't heard anything within the last week or so about states needed to rewrite the constitution. Ah yes, New Hampshire. They are in a real good position for seceding. lol Not! Remember a bunch of states tried that in the late 1800's and we know the results of that.

The secede effort may have a bit more clout in the N.W. with the coalition of Montana, Idaho and some other areas, with the efforts of Russel Means. We shall see if any of it goes beyond the rant stage. Of course Texas has been threatening to secede for some time now. lol. I say give it back to Mexico.

I agree with you that people don't even know what they are looking at anymore. Most are so locked up in ideological arguments that the facts of the case never penetrate into consciousness. John Falkner wrote a funny piece for Smirking Chimp called "A conversation with a rabid right winger" that exemplifies this. Neat and humorous read.

Oh if only I could witness that as a mass movement. I have been periodically stating on this blog for 3 years that we, as individuals, need to haul out our most cherished beliefs at the least once a year, and see if they still stack up to the reality around us we observe. If not, better start changing them. Of course to do this, one has to be ready to admit that they have been wrong for a long time and that is a position that few can tolerate. So instead the cognitive dissonance defense mechanisms kick in. I see this happening all the time. The,'don't bother me with the facts and data' position.

I reckon that we just keep talking about it and see how many start to 'get it'.

As I recall, Columbus did much the same thing in Jamaica to the indigenous people there. The ones who worked as slaves, he worked to death and the rest killed themselves rather than be enslaved. I think we should observe Columbus Day as a day of reflection and atonement. I'm lighting a candle of sorrow.

Murph, the pervasive corruption that enfuses this country on so many levels has certainly evolved to a sickening state. These things of course have always been present in the greater nature of human activity, and always will part of what we manifest as behavior.

As it looks like the circumstances in the US ( and in the world in general ) will continue to degrade ( perhaps in a catastropic manner ) at some point violent behavior would be expected from those adversly affected, having their expectations of what should be shattered.

From my perspective the general nature of people of our present culture are very much differant from those who sought to " refresh the tree of liberty with the blood of tyrants " in their time. I could imagine the " shake out " of all the peoples angst going in alot of un-predictable and unwise directions as this Long Emergency we are entering unfolds.

Instead of finding that a long list of unjust situations are remedied and resolved by the aggressive actions of the populace, we may very well actually find that because of all the varied pressures imposed on our culture by the many current converging large scale breakdowns of the support factors of our complex societies that worse injustice of various forms will blossom as the harsher tendencies of the human species ( law of the jungle nature ) becomes more prominent, as it tends to do in such very stressed times.

So for my self I'm not really counting on our culture of entitlement and excess to go gracefully and intellegently into the trying times before us.

Freeacre, I concur that the whole myth of columbus is just par for the course of the made up history disseminated to and believed by the US populace in large manner to conceal the truth of what really went on. For example the contridiction of american citizens all riled up about those damn illegal mexicans invading our country when they and the indians were the original inhabitants of this land that was stolen from them by the scam and violence of the invaders from europe, our ancestors.

Did you make it to the Brussels conference last weekend. Oldensoul and I caught most of it on UStream. Project Camelot has it. There were several really good presentations. One by an American named Matthew Stein who wrote a book called When Technology Fails. Based on his interview, I'm getting his book. Also, a man from Holland, I think, talked about permaculture. Closing with Bill and Kerry included an interview with a guy who possesses an unusual skull he believes is the smoking gun to prove the existence of extraterrestrials on this planet. He's written an ebook about it, and is now attempting to collect the half-million dollars he thinks it will cost to run the genome sequencing and filming of conclusive tests.

No Rp, I didn’t make it and I didn’t cut the roses either and up to now I haven’t had time to hear the stream either but I will. Chris’s daughter and her boyfriend that used to live with us in the old apartment whilst they built a house had a baby together and this coming Friday they are going to get married. I am old enough to remember when it used to be done the other way round but kids these days :-)
Anyway, it was sprung on us that everybody that is coming to the wedding is grouping together at our place before the wagon train moves out. Although it will be only 15 – 30 minutes there is a bit more to it than it sounds. There is a very big Sunday market in the centre of Antwerp, known as the Bird Market. You can get things there you never see anywhere else so that’s where we were with a couple of friends and we managed to get in a few drinks and a few laughs too. On Monday Chris went with her friend to a different shopping area where things are sold for the price they should be rather than the price they usually are but I don’t want to get into the ethics that argument here. On the way back a crazy bus driver did a Formula One start and caused her to fall on the bus and she has bashed her chest and her left leg. Waited all day for the doctor to do a house visit but now it is 22.00 and still no show :- (
Today I have been looking after Chris, tidying bits up in the apartment, cooking (that’s usual) and picking up one of the grandkids up from school in the next village so that is where my time disappeared to.

Thanks for asking Randy, she is a lot better today although it is not over yet even though the doctor did not show up. Over here you do not need to stick to one doctor, you can chop and change as much as you like. This one was our doctor when we moved to Belgium but then we moved two villages (small towns) away. We stayed with him because he knows Chris’s history very well with her back hernia operation five years ago and her stroke a year and a half ago. Problem is when he has a full visiting list he can do two or three house calls locally in the time it takes to get to our place and that’s probably the reason for the no show. When he employs a secretary she just takes a certain number of house calls before she closes the book without having an appreciation of the travelling time involved. In retrospect we should have called someone locally. One good thing, I talked her speech therapist into coming to us today instead of a quarter mile walk to her place. Anyway, sick or not there is no way she is going to miss her daughters wedding on Friday. So she spent today lying on the couch enjoying ill health :-)

For the past year or more, I've clicked on James Howard Kunstler's "Clusterfuck Nation" website and blog and enjoyed his rants on the evils of mass consumption, materialism and our love affair with SUV's and BFT's -and the comments section also. I was even thinking on checking out a couple of his books like, "World Made by Hand," and "The Long Emergency." But after this week, with the below comment, I seriously doubt if this guy is worth listening to anymore.

Wow, this guy doesn't even know me and he's calling me fucking brain damaged. Usually it takes a good while for people to realize I'm fucking dain bramaged. Geez! But, I had an inclination that this guy might be a dickweed a couple of months ago when he ranted about how Hamas and Hesbolah was to blame for ALL of the Palistinian's woes. So, maybe this guy is a major asshole. Well, needless to say, I probably won't be visiting his site any time soon. Granted, in reading a lot of his past posts, I thought he made a lot of good points in his rants about the economy and suburban sprawl, but with this and some of his other comments, it sounds like he's just another asswipe from the establishment. Oh well, the time I won't be using to read his blog means more time to play in the garden, watch football and drink beer.

Randy; Thanks for the head's up on Kunstler. Like you, I've read so much of his stuff in the past, and agreed with what he was saying, I don't really pay much attention to his writings anymore. I probably would have missed this.

It's a shocker to find out people you thought you could trust suddenly turn, like sick dogs, into strange and vicious animals. Noam Chomsky is another. The list of leading intelligentsia in denial on 9/11 is a long and shameful roster. I have to think, given the level of these people's demonstrated cognitive abilities, that there are coercive factors involved "encouraging" these voices to remain "inbounds."

His blueprint for truth speech is very powerful. He's been touring the country talking to small groups. His message is, "we don't know exactly whodunnit, but we're pretty sure it didn't unfold the way the official line would have us believe." That's it. Let's have an independent investigation, where no line of inquiry is off-limits, and find out what really happened. We owe it to our three thousand dead countrymen.

But of course, the collapsing world economy, and subsequent "New World Order" have upstaged these surely futile attempts to set things straight. 9/11 has already been archived, along with the Kennedy's assassinations, OKC bombing, USS Liberty attack, etc., and placed high on an unreachable shelf in the national consciousness marked 'Unsolved Mysteries.'

I have friends who are baby-boomers. They despise the baby-boomer generation for its decadence, for its selfish greed and indulgence, its ruinous appetite for material goods, for its many wants and needs. They condemn the boomers for not going into politics and changing the world for the better, having had their eyes opened during the sixties. No excuse for repeating the same old mistakes.

Yet, these same indignant souls slough off the 9/11 truth movement as passe, and boring. "Who cares?
We can't do anything about it anyway. Since time immemorial the world has been controlled by one group or another, and it always will be, so relax and enjoy your life." (I'm not making this up.)

Members of my own family, fierce liberal democrats all, bathed and swaddled among the legends of how Franklin Roosevelt's largesse saved the working class from certain destruction, followed Bush from the heaps of smoldering steel in Manhattan to the caves of Tora Bora and on into Baghdad, without objection or complaint.

In 2004, when the country elected a democratic congress to end the illegal and immoral killing in Iraq, we watched in horror as Nancy kept impeachment off the table, and congress approved more funding for the war.

We get stuck in our stories. We build images of ourselves a little each day, then feel obliged to assume the pose.

To their dying breaths, my siblings will never admit, or come to the understanding, that both major political parties in this country represent two sides of one coin. They are mesmerized by the toss. They love the game, like brokers and gamblers. They've learned the rules. They play hard. This time, everything's gonna be OK. Wait n' see.

Randy, I share your disappointment with Kunstler's refusal to take under consideration any criticism of the 9/11 truth movement. It would point to the possibility of complicity of Israel, and THAT is something that he just will not countenance. Period. It is a major flaw, in my opinion. But, it's not the only one. If you do read "A World Made By Hand," you may notice a bias against women as well. I still read his rants against Wall St. and his thoughts on the failure of the suburban infrastructure. Everybody, it seems, has blind spots.
But speaking of bias against women, I am outraged and sickened by the 30 GOP senators who voted against Al Franken's bill to stop hiring mercenary firms in the Middle East who have clauses denying their female employees the right to sue in the event that they are GANG RAPED on the job by their co-workers. THIRTY SENATORS voted against it! Including McCain. They all deserve to eat shit and die. Every woman who encounters them should openly demonstrate their disgust. Waitresses should drop their food in their laps, their wives and daughters should reject and revile them, their secretaries should fuck them up every way possible, their female (as well as male) constituents should refuse to vote for them. They should be shunned, called names, insulted, spit upon... Same goes for the insurance company men who refuse to insure women who have had C-sections, require women to pay the first $5,000 for maternity care, charge 48% more for medical insurance than they do for men, employers who pay less for the same work, and on and on. I am absolutely furious at this misogynistic Amerikan reality in all its manifestations.
I can go along and focus on other things, but now is one of those times when it just jumps up and slams me in the face. I'd like to beat these motherfuckers about the head and shoulders with a 5 inch stiletto heel. To think that they are sitting in the halls of privilege and ruining our lives is just more than I can stand.

READING THE SIGNS

Freeacre and I had an experience recently that we just have to share with all of you readers.

You all know that various writers concerning present events often use metaphors to support their points. Mike Ruppert was the first (I think) to use the term; ‘connecting the dots’ for his conclusions. Well, we have just discovered a new way to project information to predict the future.

We recently butchered 8 rabbits, salivating over the smoked jerky that would result and the stews and fried rabbit that would be forthcoming. During the butchering process, as sort of a lark, we decided to read the intestines. In the first rabbit, oh my god, the face of Christ was imprinted on the stomach. We ran inside and quickly researched how to read the entrails of a rabbit. Now here is where the bad news came up. According to how they came out of the first rabbit, the economy is just fine, the dollar is going to retain it’s value and all the politicians are honest and the bankers have our best interest in mind with what they do.

Nuts, I might as well plow up the garden. Just goes to show what happens when you try and forecast the future with facts and figures. Anyway, we are now reconsidering joining the Republican Party and taking a trip to Europe on our credit cards. Heck, we may even try for Wal-Mart greeters just to help out, don’t ya know. Would help out buying the Hummer we covet.

Now of course after reaching these startling conclusions, we started on the other rabbits. Now this is really odd. The next rabbit entrails indicated that the human race was going to be eradicated within the next 6 months. Wow, the stench that would create. I don’t know if our poor dog could take that. We’ve raised her to have some sensibilities you know.

The third rabbit entrails indicated that all the politicians are dishonest, the economy will collapse in a few months and all the bankers were evil S.O.B’s and were about to be jailed. Oh oh, Bernanki is in trouble now.

The fourth rabbit entrails indicated that we were going to be invaded by aliens, and served up for lunch. I started hoping they would get indigestion.

Now I’m getting really confused by all this information and wondering if all our research was totally reliable. What to do? I know, let’s go buy something neat and not worry about it?

So, on to the rabbit no. 5 which indicated the flue pandemic was understated and the flu shot was perfectly safe. Hmmm. No indication concerning the adjuncts.

The sixth rabbit indicated that the pandemic was over stated by a wide margin, and that the vaccine was dangerous. I knew it, conformation at last!

We’re getting really confused by now. Maybe reading animal intestines isn’t as predictive as advertised. Oh well, my shoes have blood on them and got rabbit intestines spread all over the plywood board and the dog is whining for a liver.

So, on to rabbit #7. This one gave a really hairy reading, something to do with mass human consciousness changing events that would transform our reality. Not sure how that one is going to go down with Wall Street.

Last rabbit, #8. By this time Freeacre and I are feeling like our heads are going to explode. Not sure we want to do any readings and just enjoy the jerky. But, gritting our teeth we read once more. This one was so weird that we decided we wouldn’t tell you because sharing this reading would mean the end of the world. As it is, we now wonder when FEMA will knock on our door for reading forbidden knowledge.

Our conclusions about this experience is a warning; be real careful in reading entrails. Maybe we need to make more discrimination about the source? I wonder if we would get more coherence with human entrails or maybe start looking at the lizards among us.

I do believe that there is a Mother and Father, feminine & masculine, aspect to the One, or the Universe or Divine Intelligence or whatever you want to call All That Is. And, if we were in balance, there would not be such a disparity between the haves and the have nots, the privileged and the desperate. The Feminine feeds and nurtures and the Masculine uses his strength to empower and protect - not to dominate or exploit. That is what I believe. And, I choose to believe it whether it is true or not - because it's worth believing in.
But, we humans are so out of whack that I just get fit to be tied. Like Nina wrote, "corporations and governments are dehumanizing us." Gaaaah!
Well, I take comfort in the pictures that were sent in. Palooka, you must be in tight with the Mother. Just look at the bounty that was provided by the storm in the form of those gorgeous mushrooms; and Baz's eels, and that magnificent garden of Caroline's. I gotta stop sometimes to recognize good things when I seem them.

We were at Daisy’s wedding yesterday and last night. It was a fantastic doo and I am still in a funny mood today (did you guess).

One thing for sure is that Freeacre would get my hand in the air for being chief of the Clan. And there would be no problem at all with RAS and Caroline et al being on the advisory council.

RAS, thanks for asking about Chris; there is still some pain around the bruising on her chest but otherwise fine, she didn’t let it stand in the way of enjoying herself yesterday. How is the lurgy that has been hanging around and you and your GF? I hope it is clearing up.

Congratulations to Daisy and her husband, and to Chris, for pulling off a wonderful wedding. That is a happy occasion. I, too, am glad that Chis has recovered enough to enjoy the ceremony.

How about you, ras? Are you getting better yet? And, we just heard from Stoney that he slipped and fell on wet linoleum at (of all places) Walmart and has a torn ligament or muscle (I forget what it is called)and has just gotten out of the hospital. He also had the swine flu and before that cut his hand badly in an accident. Jeeze! No wonder that we have not heard a lot from him lately. Have to send Stoney and ras a bunch of good vibes.

Any thoughts on good health tips to stay healthy? I am taking colloidal silver, Yin Chio, pau d'arco in liquid form, as well as garlic and a boatload of vitamins including Vitamin D to ward off the nasties. I avoid accidents by hardly ever leaving my keyboard ... so the only potential injury may be carpal tunnel syndrome or blindness.
Me, the "chief of the clan"? Oh, Boy! Could I wear a headdress and a fancy cloak of some sort over the pajamas that I normally have on? .... the mind boggles! Of course, we could all just do that anyway. Ha!

I'm slowly feeling better. I'm out of the madhouse now. I resigned from that job and I've got another one, but it doesn't pay as well, drat it. I think things are going to start getting better.

My novel was turned down by the publisher I sent it to, and it's already been turned down by one agent, who didn't even read it. I am thoroughly disgusted by the publishing industry and the whole "your work will stand or fall on its own merits, but sell it to me in two paragraphs or less or I won't even read it". Gahhh. If anyone wants to read it, send me an email and I'll pass it along.

Hey, here's some more "change" we have hoped for: the Feds are saying that prosecuting people for using medical marijuana within lawful state statutes is a waste of manpower and will discontinue doing so! Yea! When and if the trucks stop running, it may be the only pain mitigating medicine available for those (like me) who suffer from chronic pain. Hallelujah!

Greetings all! It's 1:13 in the morning! Do you know where you are? I used to, and then I took some of these new pills the doctor gave me!

My back still hurts, but not as bad, and now I just don't seem to care, because my head is GROOVING!!!!
